She/Her

Hey there, I’m Rachel!

Most people know what it feels like to exist in the world, very few people know what it feels like to actually flourish in it. And what’s more, we don’t even talk about what all of this feels like. The exhaustion that doesn’t have a clear reasoning, the moments where you’re doing everything just right, and yet it still feels like there’s something missing. The subtle frustrations of being heard in all the wrong ways, or worse, not being heard at all. The loneliness of being surrounded by people who mean well but still being completely unseen.

You spent a long time making yourself manageable. Easier to understand. Easier to accommodate. Easier for other people. Maybe the diagnosis came first, the plans, the meetings, the well-meaning decisions made on your behalf, but without your weigh-in. Or maybe you’re the one doing all the tending, the sibling who cares for everyone else’s needs while your own needs go unmet. Either way, you’ve felt it, that sense that you’ve been surviving just fine. But flourishing? That’s never been an option on your table.

Through years of advocacy, research, and personal connection within the disability community, I’ve seen how often people are misunderstood, underestimated, or spoken for instead of listened to.

As your therapist, I want to give you the conditions to grow on your own terms. We will look at what’s been missed, remove what’s been suffocating your growth, and figure out together what was always meant to be there. Whether you’re neurodivergent, navigating life with Down syndrome or another developmental disability, or carrying the quiet weight of being the one who kept everything afloat for everyone else, there is room in our work for all of you.

Affordable Teen Therapy & Young Adult Therapy in Colorado

Accessible care, without question.

Mental health is a human right here at Interfaith Bridge Counseling and we are committed to making care genuinely reachable for Colorado teens and young adults, it’s one of the reasons I joined this practice. When you choose your rate, we ask that you consider what you can genuinely afford to pay consistently, while also honoring that this is our livelihood. Our sliding scale is a mutual aid model:

Those who pay closer to the top make it possible for those who need to pay less to access care. Your rate is a reflection of your financial reality, a contribution to our Colorado community, and a recognition that the people supporting you deserve to be sustainably compensated for their work.

Common Teen Therapy & Young Adult Therapy Questions:

  • Yes, I accept all RAEs of Health First Colorado (Medicaid), including CHP+. I also accept Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS) and United/UMR. I also offer a pay-what-you-can sliding scale from $60-$140 for those without Medicaid, are uninsured, or have other types of commercial insurance.

  • I adore working with teens and young adults who have spent too long feeling overlooked, underestimated, or spoken for, including young people navigating neurodivergence, developmental disabilities, and the quiet weight of being the sibling or family member who always held it together.

  • Neurodivergent and advocacy-informed therapy means that I work to show up as someone who has spent years inside the disability and neurodivergent community, watching how often teen and young adults are misunderstood, underestimated, or spoke for instead of listened to. Advocacy-informed therapy means your voice is always the one that matters most in our therapeutic work together. We go at your pace, in your understanding, on your terms.

  • Yes, I do and this is an area I am deeply committed to. For teens and young adults with Down syndrome and other developmental disabilities, therapy with me is a place where you are listened to. For siblings, it’s a space where your needs also get to be a priority along the people you care for.

  • Yes, I offer both in-person sessions in the Denver Metro area and Telehealth across Colorado. Telehealth means you can join from wherever feels most comfortable, such as your bedroom, your car, wherever you can carve out a quiet moment for yourself. But if meeting face to face feels more like you, I’d love to make that work too.

  • Schedule a free 30 minute phone consultation with me. No paperwork, no commitment, just a conversation to see if we’re a good fit.
