Specialty Group Therapy

Our teen and young adult therapy groups are designed to reduce isolation and build meaningful, ongoing support. To us, group therapy is central to how we support teens and young adults in Denver and across Colorado via telehealth.

We offer dedicated groups for teens ages 10-18 and young adults ages 19-35 as well as specialty groups for specific communities and needs. Therapy groups provide the chance to foster friendships in a brave, yet safer space so that young people can explore and discover exactly who they want to be as an individual and as part of a community, while practicing therapeutic skills.

Together, we'll practice social bravery and community caretaking through sharing what feels hard to say out loud and discovering that you're not the only one navigating anxiety, stress, overwhelm, perfectionism, identity exploration, chronic illness, disability, or isolation.

We Accept Medicaid Insurance, Second Wind Fund, and Self-Pay

Our teen and young adult therapists accept all RAEs of Health First Colorado (Medicaid), Health Savings Accounts (HSAs), Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs), the Second Wind Fund, and offer an affordable pay-what-you-can sliding scale between $60-$140 per session for individual counseling. Our hope is to make therapy as affordable and financially transparent as possible while honoring economic access, dignity, and livelihood.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Yes, individual therapy is one of our core services. We work with tweens and teens ages 10-18 and young adults ages 19-35 in one-on-one sessions via telehealth across Colorado and in-person in the Denver Metro area. Each client is matched with a therapist on our team who specializes exclusively in young people.

  • Individual therapy is one-on-one sessions between a teen or young adult and their therapist. Group therapy, on the other hand, brings together a small group of peers to work through shared challenges together, ultimately building community alongside clinical skills. Many of our clients do both individual and group therapy with us.

  • Yes, group therapy is central to what we do. We offer dedicated therapy groups for teens ages 10-18 and young adults ages 19-35 as well as specialty groups for specific communities and needs. Our groups are designed to reduce isolation, build community, and develop therapeutic skills alongside peers. You can view our current groups and availability on our groups page.

  • Yes. We accept all RAEs of Health First Colorado (Medicaid), the Second Wind Fund, Health Savings Accounts (HSA), and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs). For self-pay clients we offer a sliding scale from $60-$140 per session. Our goal is to make therapy financially accessible without sacrificing quality of care.

Outside of Medicaid, we do not accept any commercial insurance plans and are happy to provide you with a superbill for possible reimbursement.

  • Both. We offer telehealth therapy to anyone in Colorado and in-person sessions in the Denver Metro area with select therapists.

Most of our therapists are virtual only and that’s because virtual was never just an accessibility option for us. Our therapists have trained specifically in how to make virtual sessions more connected and more effective. Because sessions happen in your space, not ours, we often see things a traditional office never could: whether your environment feels calm or chaotic, who walks in, whether you have a door that actually closes. A therapist in a traditional office only ever sees what you bring into the room. When we're virtual, we get to see the room itself.

  • You can schedule a free 30-minute consultation directly through our online booking. If you're a parent looking for a therapist for your teen, we have a dedicated page to help you find the right fit. There's no waitlist with us, we'll match you with a therapist who's right for you.
