Meet Jasmine Joel

She/Her
Hey there, I’m Jasmine!
Most people don't talk about what it actually feels like when nothing stays still long enough to hold onto.
The transitions keep coming, each one asking you to build something new before the last thing has even settled. School, work, relationships, expectations from your family, your culture… even just getting older, everything just keeps shifting beneath you. And underneath it all, the unresolved things like stress or trauma can hit like aftershocks. It’s exhausting and relentless, and of course, it arrives just when you thought the ground had finally stopped moving.
After a while, all of that shaking leaves you with a blurry sense of yourself. A cycle of dread, anger, sadness, and loneliness that you can't seem to get out of no matter what you try. You are constantly seeking stability in a world which, quite frankly, never promised that. Then somewhere in the back of your mind, the question settles in - Am I ever going to be able to adjust to the constant chaos?
I understand how difficult it feels when all you want is stillness.
As your therapist, I want to help you learn to sway with the earthquake, on your terms. Not society's, not your family's, not your friends'. Yours. We'll look at where the aftershocks are coming from, what's been destabilizing your foundation, and we'll do the work of reclaiming your sense of self, your identities, and your steadiness. Together, we’ll build the skills for you to bounce back when life does insist on triggering a fault line.
The ground will always move. Let's make sure you're ready when it does.

Affordable Teen Therapy & Young Adult Therapy in Colorado
Accessible care, no compromise.
Mental health is a human right here at Interfaith Bridge Counseling and we are committed to making care genuinely reachable for Colorado teens and young adults, it’s one of the reasons I joined this practice. When you choose your rate, we ask that you consider what you can genuinely afford to pay consistently, while also honoring that this is our livelihood. Our sliding scale is a mutual aid model:
Those who pay closer to the top make it possible for those who need to pay less to access care. Your rate is a reflection of your financial reality, a contribution to our Colorado community, and a recognition that the people supporting you deserve to be sustainably compensated for their work.

Common Teen Therapy & Young Adult Therapy Questions:
-
Yes, I accept all RAEs of Health First Colorado (Medicaid), including CHP+. For commercial insurance, I accept Anthem BCBS and United/UMR. I also offer a pay-what-you-can sliding scale from $60-$140 for those without Medicaid, are uninsured, or have another type of commercial insurance.
-
Yes. I work with teens ages 10-18 and young adults ages 19-35. I especially love working with teens and young adults who feel overwhelmed, caught between worlds, or stuck in emotional cycles they can't seem to get out of, including those navigating LGBTQIA+ identity, bicultural experience, neurodivergence, and family conflict.
-
Bicultural & LGBTQIA+ affirming therapy means that every part of you is welcome here - your culture, your identity, your brain, and every aspect of you that may not have quite fit somewhere else. As someone myself who is bicultural, queer, and neurodivergent, I don't need you to translate your experience for me. We don't work around your identities, and instead, we center them.
-
100%. As someone with ADHD myself, I understand first-hand what it feels like when your brain works differently than the world expects. My approach is neurodivergent-informed and lived experience-informed, which means therapy is shaped around how you actually think and process, not some neurotypical standard you were never meant to fit.
-
Yes, I offer both in-person sessions in the Denver Metro area and telehealth therapy across Colorado for teens and young adults. Telehealth therapy with me means you can join from wherever feels most comfortable, like your bedroom, your parked car, or even on a walk. If meeting face-to-face is your jam, we can make that work too.
-
Schedule a free 30 minute phone consultation with me. No paperwork, no commitment, just a conversation to see if we’re a good fit.
And schedule a time to speak with our Clinical Director
