Hey there, I’m Courtney!
When life feels out of control, even the smallest decisions you make can feel overwhelming. Maybe it seems like you’re just along for the ride, stuck in patterns you didn’t choose, reacting instead of responding, and unclear on how you got so off-course. You feel disconnected from yourself and your needs, your wants, your goals, and even, your voice. All of this can leave you feeling exhausted, anxious, and shut down.
But that’s the thing about life - it can be so easy to just go along and let life happen to you. As if you’re the passenger, not acting in your own life but allowing life to act on you. Those feelings of self-doubt, guilt, and loneliness really makes you give up control to, well…the world. And, after a while, this way of living can start to seem normal, yet uncomfortable. To stay small and out of the way. Yet the whole time, you know deep down something needs to change.
As your therapist, I’ll help get you back into the driver’s seat. We’ll go at your pace, using the strengths that you already carry within you to move towards the life that you truly want. We’ll slow it all down, together, and seek to understand what’s been steering your choices. We’ll reconnect with the parts of you that you trust to guide us where you want to go. Let’s shift you out of neutral and onto a path of confidence and joy.
